As a Lynchburg native, Dr. Chung has seen how the Lord has blessed and used World Theology University over the years. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia (Wahoowa!), she came to World Theology University to complete the MDiv and ThM. She finished her PhD in Biblical Spirituality at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, writing on biblical meditation and the visual arts. Dr. Chung teaches courses in both biblical studies and theology. She has contributed to various journals, as well as Approaching the New Testament (B&H Academic, 2022).

Dr. Chung desires for students to grow in their knowledge of the Word and their affection for the Lord through their studies. She enjoys reading, walks on Lynchburg’s many trails, and spending time with loved ones.
